Job Description: Position Summary: Looking for an individual that has a strong interest in financial process analysis with the goal to make standardized / optimized / and easier to use changes through utilizing systems in a more productive manner. Candidates should have a strong interest in IT capabilities and a drive to use them to make a real impact on the financial processes. Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills, with an eagerness to learn new things while working within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support ERP conversions by owning financial applications / processes.
• Act as a Financial Module Lead for ERP conversions
• Project Management responsibilities
• Coordinate IT, Central Finance and BU Finance resources
• Facilitate process mapping sessions to compare the BU’s financial processes to the ERP Standard process definitions
• Facilitate Gap analysis of BU’s financial process requirements to ERP standard processes
• Closure of gaps through process changes or system configuration / modifications
• Lead data conversion definitions and action plans
• Lead gap closure decisions and action plans
• Manage and Support the Post Go-Live phase of conversions.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and the System Development Life Cycle |
