Week 16 – Persistent Continuous Action

Persistent Continuous Action - Napoleon Hill

Persistent Continuous Action

This past week, I have been rather introspective and thinking back on my journey with the Master Key System (MKMMA). A few things struct me as things I need to keep embedding into my mind such that they become the core around which I continue these exercises and mindsets in support of my current and future success.

First was in Haanel‘s sixteenth chapter, the start of the seventh verse, “The man of success is the man possessed of the greatest spiritual understanding and every great fortune comes of superior and truly spiritual power.” ~ Prentice Mulford Next was verse 8 where he says, “The power to create depends entirely upon spiritual power; there are three steps, idealization, visualization and materialization. Every captain of industry depends upon this power exclusively.” Captains like these are persistent and do not waver in the face of adversity or opposition, they make progress forward each day toward the goal no matter how small an increment that may be.

These two coupled with the first of the Blueprint Builder daily affirmations; “… I demand of myself Persistent, Continuous, Action towards it’s Attainment, and I here and now Promise to render such action.” hit me as the simplicity of it all. (Napoleon Hill)

Note that it does not say, there must be pain to gain “materialization” of your definite major purpose, rather it says it takes “Persistent, Continuous, Action”. I put to you that it is the quiet heroes who win mighty challenges every day. Much like our challenge this past week to find Kindness and to secretly be kind to others, these moments are how we build our lives and rebuild our old blueprints into our “Ideal” blueprints which subby will deliver without question or insistence once reprogrammed.

Basics, core ideals, values and consistent daily actions in support of those ideas build a life we all feel as the “flame which has been passed from generations uncounted and its heat is constant irritation to my spirit to become better than I am”, and I Am.

So, I promise, whenever I sense a slippage or a weakening of my commitment my response from here forward to turn to this key mandate of “Persistent, Continuous, Action” combined with repose and solitude to ideate on my ideal. Anticlimactic I know but, life need not have such wild gyrations rather my ideal life is calm, filled with kindness and a consistent drawing of uplifting and helpful people and needed resources toward me and the achievements I have crafted as my new blueprint.

  1. Robert, I like the name. You write eloquently and with a purpose. There is so much information to keep us busy and I to have come to enjoy it. This past week of reading other blogs and Kindness posts on the alliance have just be FUN. We are part of a Great journey and I’m proud to have you and so many others with us. Be Kind to all forever.

    1. Robert, thank you so much for your comment and kind praise. Yes, we are each settling into our own rhythms and I new habits of being magnetizing kindness along with our fellow master mind friends. It has been a joy to be a part of this journey and brings me motivation and inspiration to sprinkle throughout the rest of my life. Until we chat again, be well my friend and persist…

  2. Robert – I too have found Hill’s confidence builder a powerful tool this year. Thank you for sharing your perspective on the slippery slope of persistence. It does require focus. I enjoy your writing style – sincere and to the point. Cheers!

    1. Dennis, to me it is amazing that my trend toward complicating things seems to be reversing… Hill and Haanel being due much of the credit. Thank you again for reading and posting your own thoughts and experiences to buttress mine.

  3. If persistence is needed to do the job, then I place all my dough on a guy named Bob! E pluribus unum – this post is exemplary!

Your prominant subscriber button, filling in visitor info as they pass on by, is exceptional as well!

As is the “How-to” you created for ManageFlitter. I’m sure it is destined to encourage many to add it to their Twitter arsenal!

    1. Loren, thanks buddy for being so consistently my cheer leading section (I’m trying to strike the thought of you in garb to match, Dooh!) In any case, sadly, the subscriber button is not doing as well as I had expected so… as all whites would, planning is underway to implement some structural changes. I’ll keep all updated via the Digital Connection MMA group and training with results and potentially how to instructions.

  4. Bob, as I’ve said before: your writing and sharing are a gift for many of us. Always nice to hear from you.
I like your mention of ‘Note that it does not say, there must be pain to gain “materialization” of your definite major purpose, rather it says it takes “Persistent, Continuous, Action” I took note….and keep doing so, thank you for reminding me. I love your thoughts about an anticlimactic lifestyle. As a ‘yellow’ I can relate to that 😉

    1. Saskia, it’s such a pleasure to have mastermind partners like you to play the part of my public mirror and reflect back their take on these lessons. It is a priceless kindness to receive both good and bad reviews either way, I and the remainder of the readers to follow benefit. With the utmost sincerity, Thank you!

By the way, I feel a caldron filled with thoughts on concentration gurgling in my brain… who knows what may spew forth onto the pages of my post this week 🙂
